Let's just say that Ryan would be chained to his bed and not allowed out of the house for the next four years if it weren't for the insight, logic, calm, understanding, and inspiration that my husband possesses when it comes to dealing with our teenage son. I am too emotional and much too easily manipulated when it comes to my children, but Chris handles things beautifully - seriously, I think he could write a book on parenting teenagers.

It's that calm, steady logic thing that can be so exasperating at times when I just need a hug and some sympathy. However it works wonders with handling the kids and solving the problems that get worse with my emotionally based parenting. I know just what you are talking about, Julie, I am in awe of Kevin when it comes to this kind of level headed parenting.
